Mark Angel steps back as manager for Emmanuella and Success

Renowned Nigerian comedian Mark Angel has announced that he will no longer oversee the careers of teen comedians Emmanuella and Success.

This decision follows recent accusations from former crew member Denilson Igwe, who alleged financial exploitation by Mark Angel—a claim the comedian has strongly denied. However, Mark clarified that his decision to step back is unrelated to the allegations and is instead due to his growing workload.

In a TikTok live session, Mark Angel disclosed that Emmanuella and Success are now under the management of a professional agency, enabling him to focus on other creative endeavors. “I no longer manage Emmanuella and Success. They are now being managed by a professional agency because I have more work now and [am] too busy to manage them. But I still work with them,” he explained.

Despite relinquishing managerial responsibilities, Mark assured fans that his creative partnership with the two young stars remains intact. Fans have expressed mixed reactions to the news, with many hopeful that the new arrangement will further elevate the comedians’ careers.
