Ghanaian actor Richard Kweku Asante, popularly known as Kalybos, has shared insights into why his five-year relationship with ex-girlfriend Frimpongmaa ended. Speaking on the Girl’s Aloud podcast, the actor explained that despite the length of the relationship, it wasn’t enough reason to settle.
“Being in a relationship for a longer period doesn’t mean you have to settle with the person no matter what. When you assess yourself and something is not going the way you want, then you walk out,” Kalybos said.
When one of the hosts asked if things weren’t going the way he wanted with Frimpongmaa, he candidly replied, “No, it wasn’t.”
Kalybos has since moved on and is now married to Antwiwaa Owusu Asante. The couple recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary, sharing joyful moments on social media.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on November 11, 2024, Kalybos expressed his love and gratitude for his wife. “11:11 is a year old today. Happy Anniversary to us, my Mrs. Owusu Asante.
