Introducing Dangerous Burner: A rising star in Ghana’s music scene

Emerging from the vibrant city of Kumasi, Dangerous Burner, born Wilson Annor Walker, on 6th March,1999, is steadily making a name for himself in the Ghanaian music industry. Hailing from Wassa Juabo in the Western Region, Dangerous Burner’s musical journey began at a young age of 11 years old. He attended Aduman Senior High School in the Ashanti Region, where his passion for music truly ignited, drawing inspiration from his father, who was an avid listener of Reggae and cultural music and iconic artistes such as Lucky Dube and Bob Marley influenced him greatly, as did the Ivorian music young star, Bébé Didier, whose success story inspired Dangerous Burner to believe that he too could one day make it as a musician.

Dangerous Burner’s professional journey started in 2010 when he was in primary school. By the time he was 13, the support from friends and classmates motivated him to take his craft more seriously. His commitment to music deepened after he completed Junior High School in 2015, fully dedicating himself to his passion.

His style of music is often advisory and motivational, with lyrics that resonate deeply with listeners. Dangerous Burner believes in using his platform to give people a voice, sharing life lessons and encouragement through his songs.

While he is yet to release a full album, Dangerous Burner has made waves with his viral freestyle raps, including “Behaviour and Brokenheart.” This particular track gained immense popularity on social media, making it a fan favorite during live performances. Though he hasn’t commercially released many tracks, he has recorded eight songs, released 7 freestyle raps and is currently working on a collaboration song, titled, “Susuka.”

Dangerous Burner’s music is influenced by the struggles and triumphs of the youth, as well as his personal experiences. He notes that his lyrics flow most naturally when he’s in a sad mood, using those emotions to create meaningful and powerful songs.

With a growing fan base of 300-500 or even more loyal supporters, mainly from rural areas, Dangerous Burner is zealous in expanding his reach. His fans can look forward to more music and performances in the near future, with upcoming projects that promise to cement his place in Ghana’s music industry.

Stay tuned for his highly anticipated commercial release, “Susuka,” and more exciting tracks soon to be revealed.
