The Government’s primary goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of all Ghanaians in Lebanon, emphasizing the importance of heeding this advisory to prevent any unforeseen emergencies.

On a tragic note, on Monday, September 23, Israel initiated a series of devastating airstrikes across Lebanon, resulting in the deadliest day for the nation since the 2006 conflict with Hezbollah. The relentless bombing campaign instilled widespread fear and devastation among Lebanese civilians, with casualties exceeding 500 individuals, including innocent women and children. Additionally, more than 1,800 people sustained injuries from the airstrikes, underscoring the severity of the situation.

As Lebanese citizens sought refuge from the chaos, clashes between Israel and Hezbollah persisted in southern Lebanon, prolonging the state of conflict and endangering the lives of many. The Government of Ghana remains vigilant in monitoring the situation and providing necessary support to its citizens amidst the escalating crisis in Lebanon.
